Saban denies interest in Alabama job

Saban: 'I'm not going to be the Alabama coach'

In his most vigorous public statement yet, Nick Saban said he would not be Alabama's coach next season. This despite a day filled with rumors and radio reports saying Saban was Alabama-bound.

What part of his statement was unclear to you goofballs? "I am not going to be the coach at Alabama" is FAR more definite than just saying you have no intention of leaving a place (like Tuberville did). How much more emphatic can he be? Does he have to call each of you up individually and say it? I doubt that you'd even believe it THEN.

You people are DELUSIONAL to the EXTREME.

Strike 3! Your out. Bama fans you never seem to dissapoint me. You stalked out another coach, and he said to leave him the hell alone. Who is next on your list? Maybe petrino guy will get his wish, but I doubt it! ROTFLMAO!

Saban has not been on Alabama's list since he decided to stay in Miami weeks ago. No one has said that he was except media reports. Again I will state what time has proven over & over, Tide is the place that draws winners & makes them better than they were. We are one of a few schools that can do that. People who say good coaches dont want to compete with our history of championships are just not aware of what drives winners.....

We dont worry about bama making a resurgence. Hell. you can't even find a coach thats wants to be there. All the money in the world cannot save your beleagured football program.
The only way bama ever won was by cheating. Now that the ncaa watches teams like a hawk, bama no longer has the competitive advantage they enjoyed up through early 90's. Once your transgressions were exposed you became just another middle of the pack SEC team.
Deal with the fact you are not elite. The only way you will get back to the top is to cheat, get caught, and go through a similar period you are experiencing now. I am sure you will do precisely this because Bama fans will sell their souls to the devil to win football games.

Alabama is like that annoying guy that asks the same girl out time and time again, and gets rejected every time. This guy still maintains hope that the next time she will say yes, but in fact he is only delusional and crazy. Alabama's BOT reminds me of screech from saved by the bell. He would always ask out lisa, and get rejected. Just my thoughts.

Yea , let the cow town people enjoy every little aspect of this coaching search . Sure you got the upper hand for now . But how many national titles . Hell ESPN did'nt even include you in their fantasy playoff . But Boise State was . So while it lasts , your the state champ .

I hate to post this and get bashed but Steve Spurrier will be the next head coach at Bama. Since my "sources" would get me made fun of, I'll just say it is a hunch.

I now know why Aubarn followers are so damn worried about Alabama. Think about this for a minute. In the last 4 years Auburn has peaked. The graduating seniors are the winningest group of all time! How many national champ. rings did they win? ZERO!

We hear each pre-season, this is the year of the Tiger, yet it never happens. They are finally aware that the Barn has peaked and all hope of a NC is gone for good. If the 13-0 bunch couldn't win it, there is no way anyone in the near future has a shot.

NO NATIONAL TITLE FOR AUBURN ! Not now not ever ! You will always be second . That's what bothers yall so much . You can have your undefeated seasons and yall always get screwed out of a national title . WHY! YOUR AUBURN ! THE ILLEGITAMATE LITTLE BROTHER OF ALABAMA ! Face it , enjoy your time near the top , cause you have nowhere to go but down . See ya when were passing you on the way to the top . Betcha Bama gets a national title before cowtown !

Talking about cheating, did anyone read that New York Times article about Auburn?

The press is picking up on this and it will not go away. The NCAA will be forced to do something
